Eighteen-year-old Tristan Jade Bowen was booked into the Nashville Jail Monday afternoon on charges of murder and aggravated assault stemming from the Aug. 11 shooting death of Kenny Hatcher, also 18, on Vine Hill Road, according to a Metro police news release.

Bowen is alleged to have driven her boyfriend, Mohamed Almahmmody, 23, to the scene in her Infiniti sedan. The release said Almahmmody is suspected of opening fire from the passenger seat of the car.

Almahmmody was taken into custody Friday night by Gang Unit detectives after he fled from a South Nashville motel. Bowen had been in a psychiatric hospital before her discharge Monday afternoon.
