The desire to reinstate the Lady Vols name for all women's sports teams at the University of Tennessee apparently doesn't have an expiration date.

Supporters will gather at Pat Summitt Plaza at 12:30 p.m. Sunday and state representatives Roger Kane and Martin Daniel will attend. Kane will be the featured speaker. It will be the first such gathering since July 1, when every women's sport team but basketball became known as Volunteers and was switched to the Power T logo. The university's decision, which initially was announced in November of 2014, was implemented along with the switch to Nike apparel.

"The university thinks July 1 has passed and everybody has forgotten and everybody is going to move on," Kane said on Wednesday. "No, we're not."
