A person has been killed after a motorcycle crashed into a tractor trailer.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. central time in Sequatchie County Friday, according to a news release from the Sequatchie County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened just before a scenic overlook on State Route 111 southbound, the release stated.
The rider of the motorcycle, Eddie Collier, 56 of Dunlap, was pronounced dead at the scene, the release said. The driver of the tractor trailer was uninjured.
The cause of the crash is unknown. The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating.
