Update at 1:18 p.m.: The package has been cleared as non-hazardous. People are being allowed back into the building, according to the Chattanooga Police Department.

Chattanooga police are responding to a report of a hazardous package at the federal courthouse at 900 Georgia Avenue.
The call came in around 12:10 p.m. Emergency responders have blocked the street and EMS has also been called to the scene.
