Joseph Sears, 47, died when he was struck by a motorist after he reportedly walked into traffic at the 4000 block of Rossville Boulevard Tuesday night, police said.
No charges will be filed against the motorist, who is fully cooperating with the investigation and did stop when Sears was struck, police said.
Sears was transported to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Traffic investigators are working to determine what happened and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
