A four-year old girl died this morning when she drowned swimming pool at a neighbor's home in Gordon County, Ga., according to a news release from the Gordon County Sheriff's Office.
The people who found the girl and EMS attempted resuscitation, which was unsuccessful. The child was transported and pronounced dead at Gordon Hospital, the release said.
The incident is under investigation, the release said, but detectives do not believe any foul play took place.
