No injuries were reported in a house fire that required 40 firefighters and seven fire departments to contain.

An automatic fire alarm came into 911 dispatchers at 3:28 p.m. to a house at 6425 Hunter Road, which is close to Highway 58, according to a news release from Hamilton County Emergency Services Spokesperson Amy Maxwell.

When firefighters arrived on the scene, flames were coming out of the back bedroom window. Because of the heat, they requested additional manpower.

There was no fire hydrant nearby, so water had to be shuttled in via a water tender apparatus to transport additional water to the scene, according to the release.

The homeowner was not home at the time of the fire, but a 50-year old daughter was. The house had damages totaling $250,000, according to the release.

The fire started in the bedroom, and fire officials will request an investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
