Chattanooga police say a man was shot this morning on West 41st Street, about a block from the Bethlehem Center in Alton Park.
Tarek Baker, 36, was taken to a hospital around 1:45 for non-life threatening injuries.
Baker told police he was walking down the street when an unknown suspect leaned out of a moving vehicle and began shooting.
Chattanooga police later spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. The vehicle fled into Georgia where one suspect, who is a minor, was apprehended and charged with attempted first degree murder.
Police are following leads on other potential suspects.
