CONYERS, Ga. -- Sheriff's officials in suburban Atlanta say they're investigating the distribution of nearly 100 fliers promoting the Ku Klux Klan.

Rockdale County sheriff Eric Levitt says officials are working to find the source of the fliers and those responsible for distributing them Sunday could face trespassing charges.

Officials say the fliers promoting white supremacy and hatred toward gay people were packaged in plastic zip lock bags along with pieces of candy.

Authorities in Tuscaloosa and Bessemer, Alabama also responded to reports of KKK recruitment fliers being distributed in local neighborhoods this week.
