Chattanooga Police have identified the man shot on Highway 58 earlier today.
Police Spokesman Sgt. Wayne Jefferson said Gregory Shane Hurt, a 26-year-old white male, was shot this afternoon at 5102 Highway 58.
Police have charged 24-year-old Kia Key, a white female, with attempted first degree murder, aggravated assault and tampering with evidence.
Police responded to a call about 12:45 today and found Hurt suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital, though his condition is unknown.
