Work on the Chickamauga lock is stagnant in this February 2014 view below the Chickamauga Dam.A body was found floating in the Tennessee River this morning east of the Chickamauga Dam, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
A local fisherman reported the body just before 2 a.m., the release said.
The body was of a black male, police said. It was taken to the Hamilton County Medical Examiner's Office.
Foul play is not suspected at this time, the release stated.
