Knock knock: Police arrest three armed men who were knocking on hotel room doors

Chattanooga Police responded to a disturbance call Sunday at 2:35 a.m. on the Rodeway Inn after a guest of the hotel reported that three black males with guns were knocking on his hotel room door.

Police arrived and confronted three men in the parking lot. The three men appeared to be the same men involved in the earlier disturbance, police determined after an investigation.

The three men were all in possession of firearms, narcotics or both, as well as gang paraphernalia, according to a news release.

One, Montrel Prince, 18, was arrested as an adult. The other two 17-year-olds were arrested as juveniles, and will not be named.

Police recovered one Taurus .380 semiautomatic handgun, one Raven Arms .25 semiautomatic handgun, one Hi-Point .380 semiautomatic handgun, 12 grams of marijuana and 10 prescription narcotic pills.

The investigation is ongoing, and police request that anyone with more information call 423-698-2525.
