A toddler survived several days alone in her grandmother's Maryville house after her grandmother died.
A Maryville Police Department report said the 15-month-old girl was found in her crib in her grandmother's bedroom Saturday afternoon, and that she was "very weak, smelled of urine and had swollen lips."
Her grandmother, Anette Ineichen, 58, was found dead in the house at 708 Shane Drive, and first responders "were fairly confident she had been deceased for some period of time," according to the report.
