Fire at McKee Foods in Collegedale causes evacuation

A fire producing 10-foot flames near a propane tank has caused a plant at McKee Foods in Collegedale to evacuate, according to Amy Maxwell of Hamilton County Emergency Services.

Two fire departments, Highway 58 Volunteer Fire Department and Tri-Community Volunteer Fire Department, as well as a Hamilton County EMS unit, have responded to the scene, according to Hamilton County's 911 website.

It is unclear if there are any injuries from the fire.
