Police arrest man suspected of stealing $400 from donations jar

Red Bank Police announced Wednesday a man was arrested in connection with theft of donated money at Red Bank Thrift Store.

Bradley A. Powell, 22, is being charged with theft under $500 when he allegedly stole $400 from a glass jar at the thrift store Oct 5. The donations were being raised to help build a ramp for a cancer patient.

The suspect was identified after the department received several tips after video of the theft was made public, a release from the Red Bank Police Department said.

Powell's bond is $1,000.
