The suspects charged in a Collegedale police chase Tuesday have been identified.

One of the suspects tried to pass a stolen check at a Collegedale bank, police said, and a chase ensued along Little Debbie Parkway and Apison Pike. The cars were weaving in and out of traffic trying to evade the authorities.

One vehicle stopped at the 5300 block of Ooltewah-Ringgold Road and a woman was arrested. The other ran a red light at Main Street and Lee Highway and crashed into another car. Two people ran off and a third drove away, crashing again on Lee Highway. He was caught and held by two citizens, one with a concealed carry permit, who held him until police arrived.

One of the two who ran was found in a dumpster, and the other was turned up a few hours later hiding under a nearby truck, according to police.
