Shane Albertson, wanted for possession of a controlled substance, theft and unlawful possession of a weapon, was captured by a law enforcement task force this morning after he successfully fled from a McMinn County Sheriff officer on Sunday.

Albertson had made statements that he would not go back to jail, and would kill police officers, and was known to carry guns. Police said he had multiple warrants in Knox and McMinn Counties, as well as Florida, and is a validated enforcer for the Aryan Brotherhood, though police also say he is biracial. Albertson was considered armed and dangerous.

A joint task force consisting of the Chattanooga Police, U.S. Marshalls, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the12th Judicial Drug Task Force and the McMinn County Sheriff's Office worked to find and arrest Albertson, who is in custody in Riceville, Tennessee.
