Criminal homicide and aggravated assault charges against Eric McCullough were bound over to a grand jury on Tuesday.

It was McCullough's second time in a General Sessions courtroom on charges that he fatally stabbed his niece Tyecha McCullough, 23, on July 29 in College Hill Courts.

McCullough, 46, was attacked in the courtroom on August 18 by another man he allegedly stabbed, 25-year-old Antwon Lee, who was testifying against McCullough and struck him during an encounter that reporters caught on video in judge Gary Starnes' courtroom.

Starnes also presided over Tuesday's hearing.
