The Hamilton County Sheriff has returned Ben Brewer to Hamilton County, where he is in jail awaiting trial.

Brewer was extradited from Kentucky after charges there were dropped and Brewer signed a waiver of extradition. That allowed him to be returned to face charges in Tennessee stemming from a fatal wreck in which Brewer allegedly plowed into a line of stopped cars, killing several people.

He was extradited to Hamilton County by members of the Hamilton County Sheriffs Office Fugitive Division.
