Two men robbed the BiLo grocery store in East Ridge last night around 11 p.m. taking an undisclosed amount of money.
According to the East Ridge Police Department, two black men entered the store located at 3715 Ringgold Road, and one of the suspects demanded money from an employee at the service desk, while the other suspect guarded the front doors.
A spokeswoman for the grocery store said in a written statement that safety for customers and employees is always among the store's highest concerns.
"We are happy to report that none of our associates were injured in the incident," the spokeswoman wrote. "We are fully cooperating with the East Ridge Police Department in their investigation and appreciate their timely response."
