Authorities are trying to determine why Timothy Johnson and Larry Johnson were shooting at each other early Wednesday morning on Moore Cemetery Road.
Timothy Johnson died from the altercation and Larry Johnson is in critical condition, according to the Meigs County Sheriff's department. Larry Johnson is the nephew of Timothy Johnson, the department said.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident.
