KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Former Tennessee Volunteer and NFL star Albert Haynesworth is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who shot and killed a 12-year-old boy during a drive-by shooting at a Knoxville park over the weekend.

Haynesworth posted his offer on Twitter and Facebook on Tuesday, urging members of the public to come forward and identify JaJuan Latham's killer.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reports Haynesworth had appeared at a celebrity basketball event Latham also attended Saturday night, hours before the boy was caught in the crossfire of a drive-by shooting at Danny Mayfield Park.

The basketball event had honored Latham's 15-year-old cousin, Zaevion Dobson, who was fatally shot Dec. 17 while protecting friends from what officials believed was a gang-related shooting.
