Germantown gunshot victim treated after East Ridge shooting

Police have confirmed that the shooting victim in last night's Germantown shooting was treated and released from the hospital.

East Ridge police responded to a report about a person shot Tuesday night at 608 South Germantown Road.

The call came in to the East Ridge Police Department about 10:15 p.m.

During the ensuing investigation, police were told a person arrived at Parkridge Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound that occurred at 608 Germantown Road.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital. The investigation is ongoing.

It's the second shooting in the Germantown Road corridor, after a person was shot last week during Chattanooga Police Chief Fred Fletcher's news conference on gang violence.
