"XMC goes a step further, we not only take care of a customer's document equipment needs in a very efficient manner, but we can also take care of their media needs based on over 25 years of field tested experience," said Steve Kovalcik, General Manager for XMC's East Region based in Chattanooga.

From welcome centers and projector systems to the most recently launched postage machines and mailing solutions, XMC is growing its product line based on customers' leading.

"I've been in our industry for 41 years next month," shared Bob Hamilton, Founder and Chairman of XMC. "We do what we do because our customer base has led us to different avenues based on the experience they get from us. We've been encouraged to get into other services and products outside of document processing equipment because of the good job we've done satisfying their needs."

The company strives to be a one point stop where clients can shop to get what they need done, Hamilton noted.

"We've recently completed several worship systems for all sizes of churches throughout the Southeast," he said. "Churches want to move into the 21st century and the use of projection and professional monitor systems helps accomplish that."

He also shared how one small church in a rural market and had a lighting issue that was causing problems viewing their screen. The team at XMC was able to install an automated window blind system to help block the light, thereby making the screen more visible.

The list goes on with setting up board rooms and conference rooms with audio-visual systems that enable virtual meetings and group presentations. "We've also put in welcome centers in lobbies of small businesses and banks," Hamilton shared. "It's a way to move into the future that easily allows businesses to update their marketing messages on a daily basis."

The list goes on with board room and conference rooms being set up with projector systems to allow for virtual meetings and postage machines to help bring mailing business down to a local level.

"We did our research, found the best plan, and trained our team to take it to the market," Hamilton enthusiastically stated. "It's one of our fastest growing markets."

Tim Culpepper, who leads XMC's Projection and Professional Monitor Solutions initiative shared that the base equipment for video systems is either high definition monitors or digital projectors.

"These two basic devices are controlled by a skeletal system of Cables and Media Distribution Electronics," he said. "Each system is uniquely designed to fit the application of the church, boardroom, conference center or lobby area."

Video systems require minimal maintenance such as lamp replacement, plus filter cleaning with years of trouble free service. A large percent-age of projects performed includes the redesign of current systems to enable better resolution, upgrading to high definition formats or implementing multiple-media distribution devices.

"My real passion is implementing awesome systems in churches to be used as a tool to impress the word upon the minds of the audience," Culpepper said. "With each church sanctuary being so cosmetically unique, I love the challenge designing the perfect system for what sometimes seems to be the impossible situation."

Kovalcik concluded that the best way for customers to find out what XMC can do for their media needs is to arrange an on-site visit for a free evaluation and estimate for a solution specific to their requirements.
