mapA person was shot and a vehicle stolen late Tuesday night in a neighborhood off Bonny Oaks Drive, according to a Chattanooga Police Department news release.
Chattanooga police were called to the 7700 block of Holiday Hills Circle about 11:35 p.m. on reports of shots being fired.
Officers found a person who had been struck in the face by shotgun pellets. The victim's injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening.
The shotgun-wielding suspect stole the victim's silver Nissan Versa and has not been apprehended.
