A 24-year-old man was charged for allegedly deliberately setting a fire in Sequatchie County that grew to 65 acres.
Dakota Ashton Tucker of Monteagle allegedly set the fire near Sunshine Road November 14, according to a press release from the Tennessee Department of Agriculture.
Tucker was charged with setting fire to personal property or land. If convicted, the charges carry a sentence of one to six years of incarceration and up to $3,000 in fines, according to the release.
He is being held in the Grundy County jail.
Additional charges are pending, according to the release.
