A man was shot in the left cheek Thursday night while breaking up a fight at a home in the 1500 block of Anderson Ave. Thursday night, according Chattanooga police.
The victim told police was attempting to break up a disorder when he was shot.
The suspect fled before police arrived. Suspect information has not been released at this time, but police say victims are cooperating.
Police do not believe the shooting is gang-related.
