Chattanooga police are looking for a suspect who shot a person Saturday evening in the 1900 block of 12th Avenue.
Police said they did not learn of the shooting until the victim arrived at a local hospital in a personal vehicle.
The victim's identity has not been released.
Police said the person was shot in the leg, but the wound was not life-threatening.
Officers said the shooting appeared to have escalated from an argument between the victim and a suspect.
They said they are not releasing information about the suspect at this point.
Officers asked anyone with information about the shooting to contact them.
