On Tuesday, the witness saw a man and woman carrying property out of one home on County Road 179 and into another, Sheriff Jimmy Harris said in a news release.

The witness called deputies, who found the home had been burglarized. They obtained a warrant for the home next door and found some of the stolen property, along with two methamphetamine labs.

Jami Nicole Spain, 31, and Benjamin Jay McClain, 33, both of Crossville were arrested and charged with, burglary, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

"Thanks to the concerned citizen and their watchful eye we were able to recover the stolen property and also remove drugs from the community. I would also like to thank our investigators, deputies, and Drug Task Force agents who worked into the night on this investigation," Harris said.
