Two registered sex offenders arrested on child porn charges

Two registered sex offenders have been arrested and charged in new indictments after an investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, a news release states.

Christopher Kling, 28, of Signal Mountain, was named this week in a 19-count indictment Thursday, according to the release. The charges include six counts of sexual exploitation of a minor by electronic means, six counts of solicitation of a minor, five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and two counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

The sheriff's office release said the charges stem from Kling soliciting a minor for sex via electronic communications, possession of child pornography and electronic transmission of child pornography. Kling's bail was set at $250,000.

In a separate investigation, Jon Booker, 35, of Red Bank, was charged Thursday with 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. The charges relate to child pornography found on his computer, the release states. Booker's bail was set at $125,000.
