McMinn sheriff: 2 teens charged in $250,000 vandalism case

Two teenage boys have been arrested and charged with doing an estimated $250,000 worth of damage to 40 vehicles at a McMinn County auto dealership.

McMinn County Sheriff Joe Guy said the damage happened overnight at East TN Auto. He said an Etowah Utilities tractor nearby also was damaged.

Guy said the two suspects were arrested on County Road 197 and will face vandalism and burglary charges.

They were taken to the Bradley County Juvenile Detention Center pending a hearing in McMinn County Juvenile Court.
