Middle Tennessee woke Sunday to its first dusting of snow this winter season, even if the crusty, white sleet was mostly stuck to rooftops and car hoods.

The Clarksville area, by far, saw the most snow, with about half-an-inch accumulating in some spots, according to Brittney Whitehead, meteorologist with the Nashville National Weather Service.

"They had a little more moisture to play with up there," she said.
