22-year-old shows up at Chattanooga hospital with gunshot wound

A Chattanooga man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound early Sunday morning.

22-year-old Juane Joseph told police the shooting happened at 2111 Appling Street, according to a press release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Police were able to find and confirm the location of the incident.

Joseph said the suspect's vehicle was a white Dodge Charger, but he told police he did not know the driver.

Joseph's injuries are not considered to be life-threatening, according to the release.
