Chattanooga police officers responded to the 100 block of Tuxedo Circle shortly after 8 p.m. to a report of a person shot .
An officer on scene said one person had suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound that appeared to have been accidental.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
