Police: No threat at Miller-Motte Technical College in Chattanooga

Chattanooga police responded to a call at Miller-Motte Technical College early Friday afternoon but quickly determined there was no credible threat on campus, according to police.

The call of a threat came in just after 1:30 p.m. from the school on Lee Highway and was initally dispatched as an "active shooter" incident. Both the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office and Chattanooga police responded.

However, police say there is no shooter and no credible threat.

Officials with Miller-Motte could not be immediately reached for comment.
