The north bound lanes of Interstate-75 were shut down near mile marker 350, according to authorities.
The Georgia Department of Transportation says the northbound lanes of Interstate 75 at Battlefield Parkway have reopened, though the shoulder is still affected by the seven-vehicle pileup.
Mile marker 350 is near Ringgold and Battlefield Parkway.
At least seven vehicles were involved in the incident. Initial reports stated all of the injuries were minor, according to a Georgia State Patrol spokesperson.
Dispatchers from the Georgia State Patrol and Catoosa County confirmed that a wreck occurred and that emergency officials arrived on the scene at approximately 9:20 p.m.
