Dozens arrested in Bradley County roundup

A two-day roundup of individuals with outstanding arrest warrants by the Bradley County Sheriff's Office was deemed a success this week.

Sheriff Eric Watson said some 33 arrests were made of sex offenders, those owing child support, as well as people facing other misdemeanor and felony charges. The sheriff said the office's warrant team and Bradley County Constables Jason Corum and Brent Runyon worked together to make the extensive roundup a success.

"We planned this warrant roundup with the help of our Judicial Division officers," Watson said. "We've agreed that this was successful enough that we'll do it again. Those we took into custody will finally face a judge on their charges."
