The Marion County sheriff said 39-year-old Powells Crossroads resident Wesley Ridge was last seen the afternoon of March 8 by his family and no one knows where he is.

A $3,500 reward has been posted for information leading to Ridge.

Sheriff Ronnie "Bo" Burnett said Ridge was raised in the north end of Marion County and most recently had been living at a home near Hales Bar Marina on U.S. Highway 41 just outside of Guild, Tenn.

Ridge's father reported him missing March 10, Burnett said.

"We've had some leads, but nothing has turned up," he said. Burnett said there were no signs of foul play, noting the investigation is ongoing.

A check of phone records shows Ridge's phone was used the day he went missing but not since, Burnett said.

"It's been three weeks this past Tuesday," he said. "It's like he just vanished."

The sheriff said he was familiar with Ridge and his family and didn't believe he would have gone very far from home.

Burnett said Ridge's family is distraught.

"He's got a good mama and daddy," the sheriff said. "We're just trying to get up any information that'll help us find him."

Ridge is described as about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds with short hair and facial hair.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Wesley Ridge is asked to call Detective Henderson at the Marion County Sheriff's Office at 423-942-2525.
