A Chattanooga attorney and his son are dead in what the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office is calling a domestic incident on Jennifer Lane in East Brainerd.
Attorney Glenn Ray Copeland and his son, Steven Dale Copeland, died of gunshot wounds, according to a sheriff's office news release.
The sheriff's office said the first shooting was at 9015 Jennifer Lane, which is Glenn Copeland's address. He died at Erlanger hospital.
The suspected shooter had left the home and deputies found him dead of a gunshot wound at 9012 Jennifer Lane, which is Steven Dale Copeland's address.
Authorities said there are no more suspects and say the public is not in danger.
