Linda Heiselman doesn't want your flowers, but she does want you to do something in her memory.

Heiselman died Thursday, and the 73-year-old Riceville woman put a unique request in her obituary.

The obituary is scheduled to run in Saturday's Times Free Press, and Heiselman is asking others to do what she cannot on election day.

"In lieu of flowers, Linda's request was to encourage you to go vote for Hillary Clinton for President," the obituary reads.

Heiselman was born in Covington, Ky., and graduated from Hinds Junior College in Raymond, Miss., where she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa fraternity. She was a retired nurse.

She was married for 41 years to Thomas J. Heiselman until his death in 2005.

Her funeral is from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Heritage Funeral Home in East Brainerd.
