A vacant house at 3123 Lightfoot Mill Road was engulfed in flames when firefighters responded to the calla round 3 a.m.
The flames could be seen from miles away and were beginning to spread to some nearby trees.
Firefighters brought the fire under control and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
