Woman in critical condition after colliding with UPS vehicle

A woman is in critical condition after colliding with a UPS vehicle on Suck Creek Road Friday morning, according to a press release from the Chattanooga Police Department.

Cynthia Jackson, 39, was driving on the road when she veered into the other lane and hit the UPS vehicle driven by David Weathers, 35, according to the release.

Both drivers were injured. Jackson suffered critical injuries. Investigators believe she was not wearing a seat belt, according to the release. The extent of Weathers' injuries have not been revealed.

The crash occurred on the 1200 block of Suck Creek Road shortly before 9:45 a.m.
