Police arrest, charge suspect in Black Friday shooting outside Hamilton Place

Officers arrested a juvenile in connection with the shooting outside Hamilton Place mall on Black Friday that wounded two people, according to a tweet by the Chattanooga Police Department.

The juvenile has been charged with attempted murder and reckless endangerment.

The incident began shortly before 4 p.m. Friday as a fight between seven or eight men in the mall, but the argument spilled outside into the Sears and J.C. Penney parking lot. One of the men pulled out a gun and fired several shots, injuring two people.

Malik Beavers, 18, and Adam Bulloch, 19, sustained non-life-threatening wounds.
