A jack-knifed tractor trailer has closed Interstate 24 westbound tonight in Hamilton County at mile marker 178 near downtown Chattanooga.

The accident was reported at 9:55 p.m. and is estimated to be cleared by 11:55. Westbound traffic is being diverted to alternate routes. Eastbound traffic is unaffected.

A multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 24 westbound at mile marker 179 in Chattanooga reported at 10 p.m. is estimated to be cleared by 11:30. Westbound traffic is affected with right lane blocked. Eastbound traffic is unaffected.
