A trailer fire nearly destroyed a local business early this morning.
Smoke and flames were emitting from a trailer parked at the Chattanooga Bargain Hunt loading dock located at 1301 Hickory Valley Road when a passing motorist called 911.
The Chattanooga Fire Department responded and worked to pull the burning materials from the trailer as the trailer was full of combustible materials and a lot of it was on fire.
The dollar loss was estimated at $10,000 for the trailer and $5,000 for the exterior of the building. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
