Chattanooga firefighters responded to a house fire at 1200 Sheridan Avenue after 3 a.m. this morning.
When firefighters arrived on scene, the duplex was fully engulfed in flames.
The firefighters were able to get the fire under control, but it caused extensive damage.
Volunteers with the American Red Cross were called in to provide assistance to two elderly males who were displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
