One person arrived at a local hospital early Monday morning with gunshot injuries, according to a news release from the Chattanooga Police Department.
When police arrived at the hospital shortly after 3:32 a.m., the 30-year-old woman told officers that she was shot while traveling in a vehicle. The woman's injuries are not life-threatening, the release states.
The investigation is ongoing, and police ask anyone with information about the incident to call 423-698-2525 or submit a tip through the CPD mobile app. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
