Hamilton County Sheriff's Deputies believe Joshua Taylor Eaker is responsible for a shooting on Cummings Highway. Detectives are looking for Joshua Taylor Eaker, their prime suspect in a shooting that took place this morning on Cummings Highway.
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office has declined to identify the victim, who was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe that Eaker left the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement, and that the unidentified victim was shot during an altercation involving Eaker and a former girlfriend.
Sheriff deputies have obtained warrants for attempted murder and domestic assault.
A mugshot obtained of Eaker is from an earlier arrest. This is an ongoing investigation, and the Sheriff's Office asks anyone with information about Eaker's whereabouts to call 423-209-7150.
