The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said in a news release its agents worked with the Crossville Police Department to investigate the death of Kelsey Nicole Brady, 21, who died in a home on Old Mail Road.

The TBI news release said Brady was in another room as Michael Dale and another male were fighting in the house. Dale fired a shotgun, and projectiles from the gunshot went through a wall and fatally injured Brady.

Dale, 26, was charged with one count of aggravated assault resulting in death, one count of reckless homicide and one count of aggravated assault. He was being held in the Cumberland County Jail on $200,000 bond, the TBI said.
