Two people have been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery in connection with a double homicide case that occurred on Tuesday, June 20, at the 2100 block of Shepherd Road, according to a news release from police.
Both William Wright, 18, and a 17-year-old juvenile were already in custody on unrelated charges when warrants were served earlier today and charged with the murders of Thomas Holder and Rayshann Underwood.
Underwood, 17, and Holder, 20, were found dead in the Highland Memorial Gardens cemetery by former Chattanooga City Councilman Manny Rico. Both men were shot to death, and police are investigating it as a gang-motivated incident.
Chattanooga police ask anyone with information regarding this incident to call 423-698-2525.
